not exactly sure if that what they are called but they are the ones that can go on your car keyring or whatever and some have 128 some 512 MB, to save on, I am looking to buy one, what is the best brand , and how much space do you think i will need just for saving college papers and info, allso are there any goood sites to buy them off of?

I assume your talking about the USB thumbdrive?

For the most part, it really doesn't matter as to which brand you choose, as all the USB devices are pretty much the same.

Good deal on a 256mb drive

For basic college stuff like papers, presentations, etc., I would think that 128mb would be plenty. Another think to consider is if you want USB 1.1 or USB 2.0. The transfer speeds are much higher with USB 2.0, but your hardware may not be USB 2.0.

I've got a 128mb USB 1.1 drive, and for basic transfer of files between home and work, USB 1.1 is plenty fast enough.
 
do a search on hot deal forum. in general a 256MB is a sweet spot for now. $35-55. can be bought off buy.com newegg.com or amazon.com
