USB PCI cards and Win95b

I know somebody who has a pretty old PC, with Windows 95b on it (which was supposed to have a little bit of USB support.) This person bought herself a USB printer and upon trying to connect said printer up, realised that this old PC has no USB ports. I offered her a 2-port PCI USB card (which runs off the OPTi Firelink 82C861 chip), which I'm gonna be putting in tomorrow, but will it actually work?? 😕 I found a driver on Driverguide.com that will supposedly work, but I'm not too sure...

Windows 95B can suppport USB but it needs to be patched to OSR2.1. Win95B was known as OSR2.0

I did a quick google for the patch known as USBSUP back in the day so click this link

Note that eventhough Win95B OSR2.1 had support for USB, it was only limited and a move to 98 or better would be worth while.
