I am looking to install a USB pcmcia card in a Toshiba Libretto 100ct. I believe that it has 16bit pcmcia slots and i cannot find any 16bit USB cards. I was wondering if they even make 16bit USB cards.

I don't think a 16 bit pcmcia card usb adaptor exists. A 32 bit one does (belkin)...but not 16 bit

the port replicator (ie docking station) for the libretto had a usb port on it. Adds some heft of course...

search ebay for PA2719U

like this...$40

or, what are you trying to run on usb? maybe there's another solution...

I thought the 100ct could accept regular cards. I used a Dlink DWL-650 wireless card and a Dell TrueMobile 1150 (Orinoco Gold) in mine just fine before selling it. I don't think those are 16-bit cards.
