USB not working!

About 3 weeks ago, I plugged in my girlfriend's digital camera to my computer to put pics from the camera to my PC. It worked flawlessly.

Yesterday, I did the same thing - plugged the camera into my computer, than the camera said "USB DEVICE FAILURE" or something of the sort. After that, my keyboard, mouse, even my speakers will not work (speakers don't show a green power light on, either). Keyboard and mouse are USB (keyboard is a brand new Saitek Eclipse II, mouse is a Logitech MX510). All my drivers are up-to-date and I haven't messed with any BIOS stuff since I got my computer running (almost a month ago). My PC has been running smoothly for 3-4 weeks until this.

Any suggestions???

Now that I think about it, my speakers aren't even USB... they're Logitech X-530's. Could this just be a mobo problem? It's new!

If all USB ports stopped working at the same time, then it's either a problem with the USB drivers or the USB controller on the motherboard. Try uninstalling and re-installing the motherboard drivers to make sure they are intact. If that doesn't work, the USB controller on the motherboard probably failed.

Edit: I missed the part about the speakers. If they won't even turn on then you have a power issue (possibly a bad surge protector) in addition to the USB problem.
