Ummm you mean 7 devices right? I didn't see anything about 127. Heck at 100 the sheer weight of the boxes and would break a desk.

Don't ask me HOW I hit 12 before the 7. I'm tired =P I must've been thinking something else when I typed it, but yeah, 7. I'll edit the original post.

U should hit the 3456 before the 7. :D

U can do an edit and change the topic.

but for $25 I think it's alright. What's up with all the pulling out thingy?

The way I'm understanding it, you can install adapters for whateverport-to-USB, and use those removable tray thingies to make it so that you can connect multiple devices to one USB connection, and that connection then goes into the one port on the computer.

There was a better description of it on an email I recieved, but unfortunately I'm on a public college library computer that disallows email accounts (namely Hotmail, where it's saved). I'll post the description I had when I get to a better computer.

The top three modules are removable so that they can be switched out for a different use. Currently, each of them is a single USB port module.

List of Replacement Modules:
? USB 4 Port Hub
? USB 4 Port Hub with colored sleeves
? USB Serial Adapter
? USB Serial Adapter with colored sleeves
? USB Ethernet Adapter
? USB SCSI Adapter

...So you could have a 16port USB Hub :p

So it's more of a multi-use USB device - I'll change the topic to reflect new information. Thanks MrNutz!

They are initial "fillers" too keep the initial cost down and let customers customize the hub to their needs... read my post for more info...

Yeah the source I got it from said there weren't too many left. The AT affect probably took the rest of the stock :p Better us than "them"!

Lame.... y?

"Supports all high-speed and low-speed USB devices (USB 2 devices work, but run at regular USB speeds)."

So you may not want to use external HD's or "scsi" devices.....

good luck however....
:)

Blech I never read that. So HDs wouldn't really be a good use, but I'm sure there are many other things it could be used for that don't require quite the amount of transfer speed ;)

Well it 'kinda' is. You just have to have the support for it already :p You really can't beat the price though if for nothing else than the possibilities :)
