First off here is what I'm currently running at:
1.6a @ 2320 mhz
145 FSB: 4:5 ratio : 2.5,3,3,6,1, 1.5 V for CPU 2.7 V for RAM
While playing JK2 my mouse all of a sudden cut out. It wouldn't respond and only my keyboard worked. What could be the cause of this?? This has only happened once and it seems like a freak accident but I would like to know why it would cut out like that.
Since that happened I have done the following, increased CPU voltage to 1.550, lowered memory timings to 2.5,3,3,7,1, applied the microsoft USB VIA fix (also works with SiS 7001 USB), and checked the disable error protection box on the USB controller. The problem has not happened since, and I think I have gotten rid of it. but still I would like to know what the cause might have been.
