I have an old school sattelite modem for Direcway and the output is USB only. I need to have multiple computers connected at once but so far as I know there is no router with the WAN input being USB. My best two theories are to use a USB hub and see if that works (anyone know?) the other plan is to set up a machine just to use for sharing and then plug it into the router wan port via ethernet and run the rest of the machines off that (is that possible?) In any case I would like to have an idea that my theory will work before I try and implement it. Anyway thanks in advance and hello to all the old schollers that may remember me!

USB Hub is Not a Network device. Connecting multiple computers to it can actually Fry a Motherboard.

The second solution should work; you need to use ICS to Route from the first computer to the WAN port.

Using the WAN port creates double NAT and would neutralize the first computer from the Network's File Sharing.

If you need the first computer on the Network, use the Wireless Router as a Switch with an Access Point and ICS would be your only Router.

As it turns out the gateway machine connected to the hub (not the WAN port because that didn't work) and set for internet sharing on a standard home network solved the problem.....It was actually very simple in the end but it was just one of those probmems my mind didn't want to wrap itself around and it's been a LONG time we've been needing this solution.....Oh well another problem solved, thanks guys!
