USB modem and winXP 64bit.

Greetings,
Anybody using a USB modem with 64bit winXP? Currently using a serial SupraExpress and it's working well. The upgrade path seems to be no legacy [pci slot or serial ports] Soooo i have a Conexant V.92modem USB that is a no go with 64bit OS. This is a cheap modem and I am wondering if that is the problem or is it just generic when using this OS.
