USB mic issue, please help!

I have a creative Audigy 2 card that sounds great, but my mic was weak. I went out today and bought a USB driven mic/headphones. I do not see a way to just use the mic and use my Creative 7.1's for the audio. How can you do this? It's a logitech headset. Please help!
