any usb devices aside from mice seem to stop the boot cold before the ram count-off ... I have every update I know of but it hangs right during the boot, the devices I have connected are a belkin direct connect, and a k@zoo mp3 player ... I am also running on a 10/100 network, which doesn't have anything to do with it as far as I know because everything seemed to work fine before the devices were connected, and the devices locked it up seperate/together installed before the card was reinstalled ... Anyway that system is a ka7-100 mobo with an 800mhz k7, I have a 3com 905 card, a memorex 48x cdrom, an Xtasy geforce2 mx200 card, and a sb16 sc. and am running 98se on that box. I have flashed to the latest bios, with the newset highoint drivers patched in... Any ideas will be greatly appreciated !!!
None of these problems occur on the box in my sig either and it runs win-me
