The Kensington is good. But - for a desktop, if you have the right layout, you can do better. I use an adjustable keboard and mounted an 18-inch light bar above it - A?C powered, and put a wrist pad over the bar to access my Wacom Graphire 4 mouse and digitizing pad. It is a very comfortable arrangement.

This is for my desktop.

I have the CCFL kits (with molex connectors), but I don't know how to connect it to the wall outlet.

I found the product I think I need (http://www.xoxide.com/miposunocone.html]Micro Power Supply[/URL]), but it's discontinued. Does anyone know of a similar product that's still available?
