usb kvm switch

i just wanted to know if anyone out there knew if you can use a wireless mouse with a usb kvm switch? and if there will be noticable lag during game play? i know that there is always lag with a wireless mouse, but i hardly see any with my G7

You shouldn't notice any lag at all. Since going through the switch is like adding 3-4 feet to the cable. You would have more to worry about using USB hubs then a USB KVM switch.

I have an IOGEAR Ps/2 switch to go between my 360 and computer and I am happy with the product.

As for lag with wireless devices it's always the transmitters or receivers fault for introducing lag, since the transmission is a RF signal in whatever spectrum they chose. Meaning the output signal gets to the receiver at the speed of light.

Welcome to the AT forums.

I'd suggest reading some buyer reviews (sort worst to best so you see the negative reviews first) as they probably can vary depending on design. PS/2 KVMs are basically just switches USB KVMs may need a bit more electronics.
