USB Keyboards..

hello, I have a question about USB keyboards, since somehow *cough* short circuit *cough* my keyboard interface will no longer work, hence i cannot boot my computer because i left the bios setup to halt the system when there is no detected keyboard i am left in a situation, i am wondering if a USB interface keyboard will sure my problem, since i have no experience with USB keyboards will this work? the bios was just updated to the newest build so it could support large drives, the board is a soyo 5ema+

Any ideas if a USB keyboard will work? if i wont can anyone think of a non-mobo-replacing alternative?

probably not in the bios. I believe you have to be running windows in order for the keyboard to be reccognized.

Is the USB Keyboard Support enabled in your BIOS? Mine is defaulted to disabled... but you never know... check your manual.
