USB keyboard and mouse?

Anyone using a USB Keyboard and Mouse combo?

am also planning to mod my case to have cables of the secondary USB ports on the mobo come out of the front of the case...

why do they cram all these connectors (keyboard..mouse..audio..etc) in the back of the case anyway!?
 
Yes, im using the MS Natural Keyboard Pro and the MS Intellimouse Explorer, to much of my content.

I'd say they do that, cause most people want the plethora of cables hanging out in front. Why do amplifiers have all the connectors at the back?
 
I plan on using the Natural Pro and the Intellimouse Optical in my next system (see Jukebox below). I am *thinking* that I will just connect the keyboard to a USB KVM switch and connect the mouse to the keyboard.

Without the KVM, the keyboard would just go to the CPU.

I use the Kensington expert mouse pro in USB mode. Initially my system wouldnt boot if it was plugged in but once I reset the bios all worked ok.
