USB Key Drives and Windows 98 - Mac OS X

First of all, I've read that Windows 98 needs a driver update or something along those lines to accept USB Key Drives. I have searched for those drivers on Microsoft.com and haven't found anything yet. Has anyone had success using a key drive on a machine running 98? And if so, would you might sharing the driver with me, and the model of your key drive?

My 2nd question, is must the key drives be formatted specifically for Windows, as in would I be able to use it to switch data between a Windows 98 machine and a PowerMac? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Smoolean

I dont know if Windows 98 is different somehow, but I use my sandisk cruzer in both my Mac and PC(Windows XP) and it works fine. I don't know about the driver problem though. Have you tried it without installing a new driver? Does it just not recognize it?

you will need the specific win98 driver for your paticular usb key.
suggest you go to the makers website for the driver.

Yeah the drivers are product specific, this is because Windows 98 doesn't have the plug-n-play or whatever XP has for USB devices.
