USB Key Drive not Recognized

This is kind of weird. I plugged in a USB keydrive thinking it would just show up on my computer. Well it was recognized as a device but no new mapped drive appeared in my windows My computer. I am running XP SP2 and I'm not sure what I need to do to make the OS recognize the drive. Like I said the hardware is recognized, so what more can I do.

Do you have mapped network drives? I noticed on my brothers XP box that if you mounted a USB key that it would map the drive to an in use network drive, and if you opened it up, there would be the USB key's files. Quite strange and BUGGED. 🙂
