I'm planning to setup a raid-0 setup (using Asus Nforce 2 Delux). Can I use one of those 64mb USB key chain drive to store raid driver so when I install Win Xp Corp., I can point to those driver?

Yes, you can use a USB drive to boot, if your BIOS supports it, and it is properly formatted.

What's wrong with booting off the Windows XP cd ?
What is wrong with the XP cd? You can't fit the XP install on a 64MB drive...

Probably because it's a pirated version of corp and he can't didn't burn it properly.

Anyone who asks questions here about corp is a pirate. If you really owned it, you'd be big enough to get REAL answers straight from MS, or at least your 100+ person IT department.

We have a corp CD where I work and we don't have 100 people in our IS department, but we also don't let users have copies of the CD and we're smart enough to use it on our own =)

I thought he was referring to using the usb key to store his raid drivers for storage setup (F6). Maybe not.

Either way, I would personally be interested in that, so I can ditch the floppy forever.

Until Microsoft makes the setup more flexible you're out of luck, last I saw it only asked for drivers in drive a:. Perhaps if the BIOS let you assign drive a: to the USB drive it would work, but otherwise you'll have it wait for Microsoft to change their setup.

Heh you guys are bastards, maybe on his WinXP machine he doesn't have a floppy drive, so he will copy the floppy (at a friends house) to a USB keychain to use the drivers. I've never seen everyone start a witch trial about pirated software, this is funny. I thought Microsoft was the enemy for high priced garbage software.

No, you can't. Nothinman is right.
