Lately I have been running into an issue on my HP notebook. When i plug in a usb phone that is usb 2.0 rated, I always get a msg that states that the device could perform at a faster speed if I plug it into a USB 2.0 port. According to HP, my notebook only has 2 usb 2.0 ports. Other usb 2.0 devices seem to work properly. This notebook does have the ATI SB450 and from what i have read the chipset kind of sucks for USB. Normally I wouldn't care but whenever I make a skype call, there is this electronic interference noise getting transmitted with my voice. The specefit model notebook is an HP ZE2401XT.
