USB Hubs - 1.0 / 2.0 .. Difference?

Will an older USB hub carry USB 2.0 bandwidth or will I need to buy a new hub to take full advantage of 2.0?

(My motherboard is 2.0)

You must use a USB 2.0 hub to gain full benefits of 420Mbps speed. USB 1 hubs will work, however only at USB 1 speed - 12Mbps

USB 2.0 is a max of 480, not 420.
