Hello, I am using an old PC with windows xp. The Web cam(usb) not working with internet usb modem .Each one is 500mA Power and the power of each port is 500mA. If only the web cam is pluged in the port it is working. There are four usb ports in the cpu.I don't know the speed of usb root hub. In the devic manager there are three "usb root hub" seen ,the drivers are installed properly and no any yellow marks seen in the device manager. Please find a solution. Thanks

would say
A. your psu is not putting out enough power to have them both on
B. buy a powered usb hub and be done with it.

Yes, you are probably drawing more power from a single USB root hub than is allowed. How many USB ports does your PC have and what is their arrangement?

The way the root hubs are most likely connected is like this:

Root hub A: 2 back panel USB ports
Root hub B: 2 back panel USB ports
Root hub C: 2 front panel USB header (perhaps not connected?)

At any rate, you should be able to have both devices working at once if your spread the load across the two root hubs on the back. Just try different combinations of ports.

I have tried pluged in each port and different ways. If it is the web cam and the network modem pluged in different ports in any way, it is working only network usb modem, otherwise the web cam working correctly. The driver of usb hub is microsft, version-5.1.2600.2180

If you tried every combination, maybe my guess on the arrangement of root hubs was wrong (it was only a guess). At this point I'd say that you need to get a powered USB hub.
