USB Hub Question

Hi, sorry if this is a newbie question.

How many usb hubs can piggy back off one another? For example would I be able to get four 8-port USB hubs to hook one piggy backing another to end up with 29 ports? Is this something thats doable?

Thanks in advance

I think the theoretical number of ports supported by a single chip is something like 128? But in reality, with hubs, I've gotten very limited success even with just two hubs, one hooked into another.

It would soon fall due to lack of power - unless you add separate power bricks for each hub.

I would actually worry more about USB devices just screwing up from having to go through all the hubs. It sometimes happens with only one hub.
