USB Hub Problems

I just got my MBP back from Apple Support. They replaced the display, logic board, battery, and top case (keyboard). Now when I connect my USB hub (Belkin 7 port) to my MBP it works fine (like when I turn it on when it's connected). But if I disconnect the USB hub to bring my computer somewhere else and then come back and reconnect it, none of my USB peripherals work (keyboard, mouse, headset). It is recognized in System Profiler. But I need to restart the computer to get everything to work. Any ideas?
 
Have you tried the other USB port? Is it exhibiting the same problem?
(Not saying this is a solution) If you disconnect the peripherals from the hub before reconnecting, does that work?
