USB Hub on Abit KT7 RAID?

It has been hell trying to get my Epson USB 880 printer to work with the USB ports on my ABIT KT7 RAID. (Basically loses connection when I do something while the printer is printing. I.E. load up Internet Explorer for example and it will stop printing)I heard a couple of "drastic" solutions out there, one being to get a USB hub. Anyone have any experience with this solving some of their USB problems? Also, anyone have the Epson 880 and get it to work on the ABIT KT7 RAID? It's driving me nuts. Also if you have a USB hub, mind telling me which model and how much? Thanks.

I also had problems with my epson printer connected via USB. My solution was to install a pci controller card and bypass the usb controller on the motherboard. Also, read this link

Thanks for the heads up. Interesting that my 3com ethernet card is currently in the 5th slot. I'm going to move it to the 4th slot and see how it works. Thanks.

Before you buy something extra, try making sure the USB controller isn't sharing any IRQ's with any other device. Thats what messed my rig up.
