USB hub keeps disconnecting or powering off

I hear the "boop, boop, boop" in windows signalling that a USB device has attached and see my USB hub lights turning on and off. It will do it over and over for a while and then stop. I tried disconnecting devices one at a time, but I don't see a correlation. The hub is powered and plugged in properly, is it just dying?

Try testing it on a different PC,if you get the same problem then it`s probably a faulty USB hub,you can also try a different USB lead to rule out a bad cable as well.

LOL.. you won`t believe what has happened to my 7 port USB external hub,one side has died,so I`ve the 4 port side(back) working only,oh well these things happen,I tested it with my other PC to confirm one side is faulty .
