This weekend my friend brought his computer over because he was having problems with it... im his so called "free tech support"... 
anyway he didn't tell me he unplugged his USB connections from his motherboard and plugged it back... well it was wrong and it facked up my external HD... :| Now my system won't recognize its even a USB HDl... seemed like it shorted since the wire from his mobo got really hot which is when we noticed it... is there anyway for me to fix it? The HD still works since all the data inside is fine. Times like these i wish i had only had a mac so i can actually turn them away when they need help... or maybe i could just kick them out...
