I for one favor the sharing of all things pornographic. However, if you absolutely must secure your precious data, then encrypt the files. In Windows XP professional and an NTFS files system, right click on the files you want to secure, go to general properties, then advanced, then encrypt files to secure data. Now only the user that secured the files can access them. SImply put a password on your user account and you should be fine.

If you want to do it another way without using windows xp, download winRAR. Add the files to an archive and put a password on the archive.

If the files are encrypted with XP, only the user that created them on the same computer that created them will be able to access them...

It is really pretty easy to secure an external USB or Firewire HDD. Just unplug it yourself and lock it up or take it with you. And that is sort of how you solved the problem. Congrats!
