USB Hard Drives

Hi, I'm considering buying one of them USB Hard Drives to make backups of older computers (no need for super speed) And i have one interrogation... will one of those harddrives work in dos mode? which would be convienient to use with good old noton ghost

So if anyone knows. please let me know
