I bought a D-LINK USB hub which doesn't work on my Win2K system at home, but does work on a similar system in my office. Funny thing is that other USB devices like my mouse and scanner work at home.

Any ideas what this might be? I looked through all of my BIOS seetings, and couldn't find anything. I am thinking about flashing my Award 4.51PG BIOS, but I am not sure how to do it or whether it will help.

Thanks in advance

It works on a similar Win2K system? Not all USB, in fact most, USB devices are not supported in Win2k yet.

I purchased a Belkin 4 port USB hub (works great btw), and All it said was to plug it in, and it would work. Well that wasnt the case, I had to put my Win98 CD in, and re-install a USB file, after that, it ran fine.

Yes it is a similar Win2k System. D-LINK claims that WIN2K has native support for this device.

BTW I found D-LINK's support to be the worst and most unprofessional I have ever encountered. Anyone else have similar experiences?
