USB Floppy drive question

The floppy controller on my FIC P4-865PE MAX motherboard quit working and I don't want to change boards so I was thinking about getting a USB floppy drive but I don't know if you can boot with them? or if it will it take drive letter A: like a normal floppy?

if your m/board bios supports booting from usb devices then you'll be able to boot from an usb floppy drive!
