USB flash drive size problem

Hello, i have a 4GB USB Transcend JF V30 flash drive, but my system identifies as a 2.5GB drive. I have tried to format it but it only shows 2.47GB. What can i do to repair it?

do a google search. .there are some special formatting tools for usb drives that will probably correct that problem..

you probably have multiple partitions on that drive, or the driver was allocated with only 1 partition at the lesser than optimal size...

you may be able to accomplish the same thing via Disk Management in windows
