USB External Hard Drive Not Recognized

I have a Freecom FHD-2 Pro 40 GB USB powered and all of the sudden, it stopped being recognized. When I plug it in, I get the message "device not recognized."

My computers have latest updates from Microsoft.

I've tried it on a the 2 PC's & Notebook I have at home as well as a few others at work without any luck. Both, Win2K and WinXP.
I've also un-installed/re-installed USB controllers.

All of the other USB devices I have work fine, just this HD giving me trouble.

I sent an e-mail to their support. Hopefully, I'll get some recommendations, but I thought I could get some here too.

Can someone help with this?

Right click on My Computer> properties> Harware tab> Device Manager> open up Disk Drives and should be recognized as a Toshiba drive
If it has a yellow icon on it, it's the driver and you should fix it through that program. Or it could just be a hard drive failure.
