USB external case connectors - any difference 2.0 or 1.1

I've been looking at a new case with front mounted USB connectors. Stupid question time.

Is there any difference in the USB connectors between 2.0 or 1.1? These connect directly to the header on the mobo so should I be concerned?

not really

no need for concern they connect to the mobo header..if the header is 1.1 that's what the frt ports will be ..if the mobo header is 2.0 frt will be 2.0
