Rip each movie to 2 CD size, you will get good quality and only 1400 mb/movie.

I like MPEG-2 played on the PC with my HD 3870. The PQ is very nice on a 1080p LCD
What types of file formats do you suggest that come close to MPEG-2?
I found that most of my hardrive are almost too hot to the touch when I am done moving files.
