I just bought a new Toshiba laptop - X205-SLI4

As I'm planning on using this machine as a desktop replacement, I would also like to have the ability to game with a desktop environment whenever possible..

It appears that the X205 only supports a USB docking station, not a full hardware docking station... I've got my eye on this one here: http://www.toshibadirect.com/t...to?seg=HHO&poid=360368

I'm curious how I should expect my monitor, etc to act while on the docking station, since it's USB.. I would expect the video to be slower than it would be if it were directly attached - since the data speed of USB is slower than the video...

What kind of FPS should I expect? Also, Is it worth buying a 2ms LCD monitor if the USB cant' keep up?

USB based monitors (either ones that are USB onboard, or that adapter that you linked to) are usually best for keeping fairly static images on. So... an extra monitor for documents, media players, that sort of thing.

Use your main monitor for video playback.
