USB Digicam not being reconized

I have a Fugi FinePix 2600z, and when I connect it to my comptuer it says "Unregonized Device". It worked fine on my setup (reconized nativly) untill about a week ago. I also checked my roommate's computer & it gives him the same error. This is in Windows XP. Anyone have any ideas?

Did you have to install any drivers? I checked all over Fuji's website, but can only fnd stuff relating to serial connctions.
