USB Devices not displayed in My Computer

Am using WinXP Pro SP2 with 1 GB ram, 2 SATA HDD
HDD 1-> 80 GB Partitons C, D, E, F and HDD 2-> 120 GB H, I, J
MY COMPUTER does not show any USB devices although Device Manager and Disk Management show the same and also display the contents of the device.
Can anyone help me resolve this issue ?

Sounds like your USB ports are not active. Have you check that in BIOS? If they are, then something is wrong with them. Consider a PCI card with USB 2 ports and see if that changes anything.

BTW - specifically, what devices? That makes a difference.

Hi.
Have checked BIOS and everything there is ok.
Tried PCI card but to avail.
Am using TSonic 610 and Removable HDD.
I am told hat i should reinstall windows which am hesitamt do.
Any suggestions?
