I have a Creative MuVo and a Kodak DC260 Digital Camera, and neither seems to work properly. When I plug each in, they're recognized and the drivers come up properly, and to all appearences they're working fine, until I try to transfer data. After about 5 seconds (or perhaps 5 seconds of data transfer - It could be either), they just stop. If I try to access the "removable drive" of the MuVo in My Computer, a box pops up telling me that "F:\ is not accessible The request could not be performed because of an I/O error." The Camera, when connected, brings up the digital camera Wizard, and loads previews of the first 30 or so images before it stops - then if I try to download the images, the wizard goes to the correct window, but there's no download from the camera.
And oddly enough, I plugged in a USB mouse, and it operates perfectly...

when that happens, try pluggin it into a diff usb port see if that helps.

The reason I say this is because this happened to me a couple of times and I just needed to plug it into a dif port but I leave the cable there and it works. Bizzare but hey it works.

Interesting. I set up an A7N8X-Deluxe and transferred about 90Mb of data onto a Microtech Zio compactflash unit to test it out, and it did fine. Good luck on the bug hunt!

Is that the EasyShare Software your talking about ?

If it happens with the MuVo and the DC260 then there's probably something wrong with the USB itself. I have no idea what it can be.
