USB card that will work with multi-CPU system.

Anyone know of an add-in USB 2.0 card that will work with a multi processor system. Adaptec does not make a card that is compatible.

It's hardly the card's fault. PCI is PCI, no matter how many processors.

According to Adaptec Tech support, their PCI USB card drivers are not compatible with multi-processor systems, a friend has one and the Adaptec card is not recognized by Windows.

Well ... if they're not compatible with multi-processor systems, then they won't run in single processor machines either, if they are APIC enabled. Most modern boards are.

Like with SCSI, the price premium you pay at Adaptec is once again worth zip ... there's plenty of other USB 2.0 cards out there.
