Something I've noticed - not a problem, more a curiosity. I have a Lexar SD USB reader (like this one, except for SD cards). I use in on a pair of Dells w/ XP at home and a Compaq w/ Win2000 at work. When it's plugged into either of the XP dells, if there's no card it in the LED flashes about once a second. It doesn't do that on the 2000 machine, but it works perfectly on all three. Does XP look at the drives differently than 2000 does, such as scanning it once a second to see if there's a change or something?
