USB C cable works with any USB port?

Does the new USB cable work with any USB port or do I need all new adapters?

A USB A-to-C should work with any USB port.

With that said one of my older Anker 2 port chargers fails to recognize the cable when I use the Anker USB 3.0 Type-C cable. Something with the charger obviously but not sure what it is.

Remember to buy the correct cable as it seems some of them don't comply with the specification.

Got a c with my fi lego set, worthless as I have a 6, not a 6p.

Maybe right now, but Type C will be the new standard, and that's one less cable you have to re-buy.
