I've got a mobo that has 2 usb ports to polug usb devices into. It also has 2 ports on the bottom end of the mobo to add on usb, like for cases that had front usb ports.
I know some where a long time ago I saw a usb add-on that used a PCI slot on the case, but was not a PCI card. It was just the mounting bracket with the usb ports on it, wires coming off of them going to a special plug to plug onto the mobo.

What are these things called? So I can look for them at some placed like pricewatch.com

Thanks

Yes. that is what I'm looking for.
I also figured it out later after finding my mobo manual and looking at others.

Now I have a new question.
The manual, also looked at the mobo itself, shows for both USB1 &2 5-pins and 4-pins. Msot of these internal usb cable things are 5-pin, but I have seen some as 4-pin.
Can I buy one of each and have 2 different ones hooked to each and end up with a total 4 usbs?
The specs for the usb are listed as; USB2.0 connector x2, USB2.0 headers x4 (cable option)

You can buy as many as your motherboard will support. If I read your specs correctly, you can support 4 more via USB 2.0 headers. That is what these would connect too. I think the "USB2.0 connector x2" means the actual USB 2.0 ports on the I/O panel of the motherboard. So it looks like you can get 2 slot covers (assuming each has 2 USB ports.)
