I have purchased this internal USB card reader. It has a cable with rectangular connectors with 9 pins holes (4 x 5) on it, one end connects to the reader, the other end connects to a 9 pin connector (for a J3 connection?) on the motherboard.

Since my motherboard doesn't have a port to plug this into, I purchased an add on USB card with an internal USB connector. That connector, however uses a standard USB A connection.

How can I connect the cable for this reader to my USB board (is there some kind of cable or adapter to use, or should I start over)? Thanks.

I hope the pins will match especially since the vendor lists the product as perfect for Dell machines and thats what I have. Thanks.
