OK, so I bought an Mediasonic 4-bay USB 3.0 drive bay. It only has 1 eSata port and 1 USB 3.0 port. I want to share it between multiple devices (PC, media players, PS3, etc). What exactly do I need to do? Do I need a USB 3.0 switch? Could someone point me to what I need?

Those units can be accessed through only one port at a time. If your system are all on the same network/homegroup, point them to the Mediasonic unit, and make sure it's set to "Share All Folders".

It's not a NAS. I want to share between multiple devices over the USB 3.0 port.

I believe USB Switches only allow one computer at a time to use whatever device is attached. A switch provided to select between the computers connected to it. Just saves time plugging in the cable between computers. Not sure if this is what you need it for.

NAS is required to manage the sharing of the device. You're probably after a router with a USB 3.0 port (e.g hd media router 2000 dir-827 - probably out in the next 3 months).
