USB 2.0 Version of External Zip 250 Availability??

Any word on the availability of the USB 2.0 version of the external zip 250?? Was thinking of getting an external Zip 250 and thot the USB 2.0 would be a nice feature.
 
After some thot, was this a dumb question to post? If the USB 250 Zip is connected to a USB 2.0 port will it perform at, or close to 2.0 specs? Or will the Zip drive be the limiting factor? I was unable to find specs on Iomega's website pertaining to transfer rates.
 
I'm sure that it would help speed things up (it can be rather slow when filling a 250MB disk over USB) but I don't know if it would ever take advantage of the full bandwidth of USB 2.0. Maybe something like the Peerless or Predator would though, although I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Iomega to release 2.0 versions of anything.
