USB 2.0 Support in XP

I've going nut's trying to enable the USB ports on this bio star board. I don't recall the model number, but it's a 754 board with an AMD Semperon 3800.

On the disc that came with the board, there is a USB 2.0 Driver, but when I try to install it, it says I must download and install Service Pack 1.

I've tried this, and I get a message that says I already have a later service pack, so it will not let me install, but yet I cannot load this driver!

The XP disc contains a later service pack than SP1.

Any ideas, anyone?

I believe if you go to the device manager, under USB controllers, If you see something like "Enhanced USB controller" acually its called '' Enhanced Host Controller Interface"
then you should be good to go. As long as XP is up to date I wouldn't worry about the drivers on CD, If ports aren't working then maybe there is something in the BIOS to configure or enable.
Hope thats of some help.
