System Info:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 3.40GHz
ASUS GeForce 7900GTX
ASUS P5N32-SLI-Deluxe motherboard
2gb OCZ Gold DDR667
Operating System Microsoft Windows XP
Version 5.1.2600
Service Pack Service Pack 2
My problem is that no USB devices of mine are being registered as USB2.0 (hi-speed). For instance, when i connect my ipod, i get an error that reads as:
"There are no HI-SPEED USB host controllers installed on this computer. The USB Mass Storage device will function at reduced speed. You must add a HI-SPEED USB host controller to this computer to obtain maximum performance"
I tried installing the USB2.0 drivers that came wiht the motherboard software, but it says that they are unecessary if running Windows Service Pack 1 or greater (I'm running SP2) because it is inculded in the software.
Any suggestions?
On another note, is my power supply. found Here enough power to run my system, because I have been getting lock ups / blue screens while running any 3D application, and sometimes even just while doing ****** on my desktop with this new video card and am sending it back to newegg monday to be replaced by an ASUS x1900XT. My thoughts are that 520W is enough power, but am I wrong?
Any help is greatly appreciated
