USB 2.0 not working

Hey all,

I have an ASUS P4P800-e Deluxe (I've had this board for about a year), and I just recently plugged in a flash drive, it tells me that "This drive can perform faster if you plug it into a USB 2.0 port. Click here for more information"

So I click the box, and it says "Your computer has no USB 2.0 ports." (I know it does, beucase my motherboard manual even says it.)

So I go into device manager, and apparently USB Controller Hub has an exclamation point next to it stating that it doesn't work. I go and reinstall the drivers, but unfortunately I don't have internet on that PC, so I hit "Find drivers automatically" - and it finds none.

I look in my motherboard cd, and I find the drivers for "USB 2.0" - but it opens a text file saying it detected Service Pack 2... so it doesn't need to install those drivers.

Can someone help out a bit? I can't beleive I havne't plugged in a usb 2.0 device in one year... jeez.

Delete all USB references in Device Manager and reboot.
If you do not have Enhanced reference after rebooting reinstall SP1

Actually... I was just reading over my manual just now.
I changed the USB 2.0 option from FullSpeed (12mbps) to HighSpeed(USB 2.0 speeds) and it works.

Sorry about that.
