Any help on this? My motherboard has 4 USB 2.0 ports on it. When I connect a USB device to it I get a message that says if I connected the device to a high speed 2.0 port the device would run faster. I have the latest bios as well as mobo drivers installed. OS is XP home with all the latest updates for SP2. Why are my ports not working as they should? The mobo is an Asrock 939 Dual SATAII. Thanks for any help.

This is normal when you install XP and the ports are installed, then install SP2 and do not redetect the USB Ports. Try deleting all of the USB Devices in device manager, then reboot letting the system reinstall all the USB ports.
