I recently installed my old SOYO KT333 Dragon Ultra (black) in a machine at work. We have a few USB pen drives that we use to quickly xfer data, but for the life of me, I cannot get this comp to recognize to the USB ports in the back as 2.0.
SOYO's support page reaffirmed my recollection of this mobo having USB 2.0's in the back... so WTF's the deal?
Running XP Pro SP1 (can't use SP2 for business purposes) with the latest VIA drivers installed. I can't figure out what else to do. There are two plugs on the mobo for extra USB's that are recognizing as 2.0, but i don't have a pci USB thing to plug into them. Basically I'm stuck with the two on the back of the mobo, but they're not working at Hi-Speed (have i mentioned that enough already?)
Any tips or fixes?
