USB 2.0 Hub ??????

Is there such a thing or is this just marketing hype. If I plug a "USB 1.1" Hub into a USB 2.0 port in the back of my computer then plug a USB 2.0 device into the hub, will it run at USB 1.1 speeds ?
 
it will run only as fast as the slowest interconenct. So in you case it doesnt matter that the port on the pc is 2.0 if you plug a ver1 hub in anything plugged into the hub will only run at ver1 speeds.
 
Get a USB 2 hub. Connect the USB 1 hub to the USB 2 hub which is connected to a USB 2 port. Put your USB 1 devices on the USB 1 hub and your USB 2 devices on the USB 2 hub. I have that system in effect - also a Firewire hub and two extra front USB 2 ports for pen drives, etc.
